Have you ever heard of urticaria remission? It happens! And it's not a prank. It's scientific evidence.
Yes, it is not the type of disease that lasts forever.
But we cannot give a specific time, this changes from person to person, from organism to organism. The natural evolution of urticaria is unpredictable. In the CSU, – spontaneous chronic urticaria – for example, the disease remits with sporadic returns in most cases.
In other words, just as she appears alone, she can leave alone too.
However, we do not know when exactly this remission can happen. There are cases of people whose symptoms disappear after 2 years, in others, they last longer, in some cases even 20 years.
O treatment of urticaria aims to improve quality of life and shorten the duration of illness. The first line of treatment is antihistamines, which must be prescribed according to the needs of the disease. In about 1/3 of cases they do not work and we can use so-called biologicals that must be used in combination with antihistamines.
It's worth remembering that nothing lasts forever in urticaria: not even the treatment.
