If there's one question that everyone asks, it's about the name of this portal.
Why did we choose this way of calling it? Why 3000days?
If you read a little of our history, you knew that what marked the diagnosis of urticaria – in this case CSU (chronic spontaneous urticaria) – was the intense period. Complicated and difficult time, just to know exactly what I had.
And you know, finding out what type of disease you have, and even more so, what type of hives it might be, is a SUPER important factor for you to follow the other steps from there.
I once read somewhere that the first ordeal of urticaria is the diagnosis. And now I'm not just talking about the specific type I have, which is UCE. But urticaria as a whole, which is confused with allergies, which still has a lot of confusion regarding its classification. We even explain this better in this link, it’s worth checking it out 🙂
But let’s go back to talking about the name of the channel…
One day I was invited to write about my life with hives and I decided to call the text 3000days – it was pretty crazy, because I couldn't think of another way to call my itinerant routine with hives – which was actually the first slogan we used here.
I decided to borrow the name of the text for this idea, which is now growing every day.
I couldn't call it any other way, because writing, filming, talking to each person about this topic is like observing my period, the story of my life, of my 3000 days.
The logo we developed for the portal wanted to refer to daily symptom markings, hence the “x” in each zero. In the channel's vignette on YouTube we marked this, to remind us even more about these “red days” as they used to call them.
I had a monthly calendar and every time the symptoms appeared, I marked it with an X – which was a kind of “huh, the nettle lady is here again”
Thus, the logo intends to reinforce this marking of time. Time that taught me so much, and now I can share it with you!
Ah, we have a video on YouTube telling more about this, see:
