A new year has begun and we are heading into the 4th consecutive year of reporting hives on the internet. This is amazing!
At the beginning we had a pretty YouTuber streak, our content was 100% video and all our communication was there, as time went by we expanded and divided our work (and impact) on other channels.
2019 was a very special year for us! We started interacting with our followers through our products, entering their home with messages focused on those living with skin diseases. This was like living a dream 🙂
We never imagined being able to transform our cause into inspiring products that conveyed our message in some way. Furthermore, the initiative with the little shop helped us maintain our efforts here, making our cause viable.
Also in 2019 we can start a collaboration with CDD, with very special videos focused on the framework “I was diagnosed with CSU, what now?” – this series of videos helped many people deal with the diagnosis of the disease and think about how to deal with their lives after that.
In April we had a super special campaign to raise awareness of the disease, direct from SPFW, together with our ambassador of the year 2019, Deborah Secco. This all resulted in a lot of content in the media, events and important interviews.
Do you remember the event we participated in to talk about patient life at Derma Academy? It was very special. We can speak from the point of view of those suffering from the disease, the patient's perceptions and main challenges.
It was also in 2019 that we started our work on Padrim, in order to gain support in our work through the collaboration of those who believe in our work. Even this channel is still standing, you can participate in this today 🙂
Last year, once again we made the Psychology Week, a week dedicated to content focused on those living with skin diseases, and we had the participation of new partner psychologists, bringing a curated content extremely focused on the challenges of those with hives.
In October we launched another video commemorating International Urticaria Day and it couldn't be any different – an ultra positive impact! More than 39 thousand views worldwide. Still in celebration of urticaria day, there was special content on Radio Jovem Pam, with the presence of Dr Luis Ensina, clarifying doubts about the disease.
A heart-warming memory was that we were able to organize a 3000dias in-person event, a very simple but welcoming meeting, to get to know each other, talk about the challenges, and living with the disease. It was very interesting! It gave us that boost to create something even better for this year!
2020 still has new things in store that we haven’t tried yet! We have ideas to apply and are very interested in doing better. It's great to be with you on this path, in consolidating more content and information about health.
