This week we received some very good news! And we love sharing good news around here. In the south of the country, in Florianópolis, a councilor was the author of a recently sanctioned law. It is the law that establishes the Municipal Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria Day – CSU, on October 1st in the municipality.
It is an awareness day created in Florianópolis in order to inform and provide guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of the disease – which affects so many people across Brazil.
We sought out more information from the councilor. Eradio Gonçalves, responsible for the authorship, and we learn that he was inspired by the case of a real patient, his parliamentary advisor, Sangi Martins.
We were very inspired by Sangi's story, because it didn't stop there, it became empathy, a bill and now a fact in Florianópolis.
For 3000dias, it is very important to see initiatives like this, because they undoubtedly create more awareness about the disease in the political and social sphere.
